Top Bathroom Tiling Design

BLUE-ON-BLUE

A Nantucket beach home's blue master bathroom gets its airy appearance from top ceilings and walls painted a light blue. The tile floor was drawn by designer Frank Roop on a computer with CAD software, and Tile Showcase manufactured it in 1 piece, like a carpet.

SILVER TRIM

Silver travertine tiles, Ann Sacks's Palladium, line the walls and floor of a Boston townhouse's master bath.

BLUE OMBRE

The master bathroom walls at a Manhattan penthouse are tiled in Bisazza's Mughetto, as well as the flooring in Ann Sacks's Savoy.

DRAMATIC OPAL

At a New York City bathroom designed by Sandra Nunnerley, mist mosaic tile by Studium includes a watery, pearlescent glow.

Shower Doors

MOROCCAN BLUE

In a Cape Cod bathroom, designer Kyle Timothy Blood Produced a T-shaped carpeting of tile at a Moroccan pattern. "Did you see the way the 'carpet' runs right under the vanity?" The designer states. Woodwork and the tile is from Mosaic House.

YELLOW STRIPES

Glass tiles out of Waterworks line the walls and flooring in the guest bathroom of this California state home by designer Jay Jeffers. The floral stripes add a note of whimsy and break up the space.

MODERN BOHEMIAN

"I like to blur borders," says designer Karen Vidal. The tile she chose with this 1970s beach house bathroom is comparable to that of a cement flooring in Spain, but the layout is based on a block print.

SPANISH COLONIAL

In a Spanish Colonial-inspired powder room, the graphic tiles are first to the Richmond, Virginia, house.

HONEYCOMB

Glass doors place a shower on full display, therefore Matthew Quinn played up the opinion using Origami Kiki marble flooring out of AKDO. The irregular pattern and hexagonal shapes "are dynamic, but the neutral palette makes sure it is not too loud visually," he states. He kept the remainder of the shower discreet using AKDO Soft Gray marble tiles.
