Given the Pacific Ocean views, Ohara Davies-Gaetano chose to add a sunken bathtub to this windowed alcove, and a cozy fireplace. Now the blessed owners can participate in flickering soothing waves and flames.

The wainscoting of Portuguese glazed tiles was set up by the prior proprietor decorator. "Aren't they gorgeous?" Says designer Joe Nye. He also slipcovered the side chair in a complementary blue-and-white linen stripe.
